| JobSerf |
What is JobSerf? |
JobSerf is the world’s first service
which both finds and applies to jobs on the internet. A patent-pending process
allows one to have this onerous task done by our staff.
What is the value
proposition? How many jobs do they apply to?
The value of JobSerf is that it frees
up your time and allows you to relieve yourself of the mindless task of
searching and applying for jobs on the internet. Currently we are averaging
about $1.50 per job applied to, and close to 60 jobs per week. Whether you are
working, networking or just unable to search for jobs, we do the work for you.
JobSerf will eliminate the frustration and extend your reach, resulting in a
new job, faster.
What does it cost? Is there a
set-up fee?
The service currently costs a little
less than $5 per hour. The set-up is part of the initial transaction, and
included in the ‘Starter Package’ cost. We are able to do this given our very
structured process, and leveraging of human resources outside the United
States. JobSerf may also be a tax deductible job search expense, please consult
your accountant.
How can they find jobs for
me? Do they customize the letters?
The data request at the start of our
process allows us to understand the objectives of your search. We allow clients
to provide us with up to (5) different letters and resumes. Customizing letters
can be desirable, but our process balances this with productivity.
Who is it for?
JobSerf is for anyone wanting to save
time and have this done for them. Whether you have better things to do or just
hate job searching, JobSerf is the answer. If you are a job seeker, and there
are jobs fitting your targets on the internet, then JobSerf is for you.
Can you prove that it works?
Our website has links to articles,
blogs and a TV show discussing how JobSerf works and citing real world examples
from customers and famous career experts. To date (end of 2009, 3.5 years) we
have had no refund demands or charge-backs. The home page will direct you to a
page showing numerous unsolicited Testimonials from past clients.
Can you just send me leads?
Can I review the jobs before you apply?
JobSerf has an option for ‘Search
Only’ where we send you the leads and you apply. We have allowed people to
review jobs before we apply in the past, but they have regretted it since it
forces them to spend time in the process where they are not needed. In doing
this, they both wasted their time and delayed our applying, resulting in the
expiration of job listings they wanted us to apply to.

How do I start?
Click on the red ‘Join JobSerf’ button
on the home page and start the process.

| The Process |
What is the process? |
The process begins with your providing
contact information and authorizing payment. After this, you will be asked to
provide various details of your job search objectives and additional
information about yourself to assist us in searching for jobs for you. You will
also need to provide us with both cover letters and resumes for the different
types of positions you are seeking. Our teams will then begin to search for
jobs on the internet, apply and both BCC you as well as mask their emails to
appear as though you applied.
What do I need to prepare?
The website has a file that shows you
the information we will require, as well as the format for the cover letters.
You do not need to prepare these in advance, but it helps.
How do they know what to
apply to?
The information the JobSerf website
will request allows us to target jobs that are of interest. In addition,
everyday you will be provided with a Report and can coach your JobSerf team as
to which positions were the best, and which are to be avoided and why.
Will they be able to avoid
specific companies or websites? (e.g. current employer)
Our website requests that you provide
us with those companies and websites you would like us to target, as well as
those you want us to avoid. This will prevent us from applying to an existing
or former employer, or a company you do not want to work at.
What information do I need to
provide?
JobSerf will ask you for a variety of
information. Refer to the download on the home page.
How can I change course?
Revise cover letters or resumes?
The process is very interactive, and
each day or at anytime you can revise what you would like your team to do. For
new letters and resumes, you just email them to us.
How do I know what they are
doing? What they applied to?
All emailed applications are BCCed to
you so you can see exactly what was submitted. Also, at the end of each day we
work for you, and at the end of each week, you will be provided with a Report
which shows the job details and the links to the job listings. This information
is available at anytime in your account section on our website as well.
How can I continue the
service or stop?
There is no automatic renewal. At the
end of each transaction you are provided with the opportunity to renew or stop,
and you can change the length of time or effort level.

| Additional FAQs |
How long has JobSerf been in
business? |
The company launched in February of
2006, but testing of the process has been in progress since the Summer of 2004.
The original Patent application was filed in 2004.
How does JobSerf make it looks as
though ‘I’ am the one who applied to jobs?
JobSerf’s teams have a masking
technology that allows them to send emails, make them appear that they
originated from your address, so that all the replies will go to you.
How can I get the best results
from JobSerf?
Providing more and better information
are keys. Complete the data input clearly, and then guide your team as to what
you want/do not want each day. The more guidance you provide to your team, the
better they are at doing a perfect job to your expectations.
How can I call my team on the
phone?
Email is preferable. In an emergency,
you may speak to someone in the Dallas office.
Which websites do you use? Which
companies will you apply to?
JobSerf has a database of more than
4,000 websites, but we select the most applicable for each client. Also, for
your target companies, we will visit their company sites.
What do I do if I get called by a
company or recruiter?
If you receive a call and did not
review the job, our suggestion is that you ask to call them back. You can then
refer to your email to find the link on the Report (Daily or Weekly), or go to
our site, and pull up the job listing to better prepare for your conversation.
Should I be worried about
identity theft and privacy?
JobSerf is specifically structured to
avoid these problems. We do not ask you for sensitive information. In addition,
JobSerf maintains rigid security and information management policies to ensure
the privacy of our Customers. This process was designed to accommodate the
needs and concerns of the passive job seeker who is concerned about their
current employer discovering their job search.
How is the ‘time’ I purchase
measured and spent?
No time we spend in setting up your
account or our answering your questions is included in the time paid for in the
packages. Only time we spend finding & applying to jobs is included.
Do you write cover letters and
resumes?
JobSerf has partner companies we can
refer you to for resume and cover letter writing. We do make small changes to
letters at times so that they work better in our process.
Isn’t this like a blaster or
other services?
JobSerf is not similar a resume
blaster, nor are we familiar with any services similar to ours. Blasters send
resumes and non-specific cover letters to unqualified lists of emails or faxes
in the hopes that they are hiring someone like you. JobSerf on the other hand,
does what you would do if you had to sit at your PC all day and scour the
internet for jobs, and then apply yourself.
